Recently reopened after a £10 million facelift, this modern facility hosts a broad variety of modern works. Now triple its former size, visual art of every style is displayed, including pieces from the area's up-and-coming artists. Performances, concerts, readings, and lectures are frequently held here. Another new feature is the ability to showcase multimedia art.

The Citizens' Theatre is home to the Citizens' Company, founded in 1943 by the Scottish playwright James Birdie. The theater seats 600, and it usually hosts sell-out performances. This theater contains two small studios and one main auditorium. Call ahead to find out the current play schedule.

King's Theatre sponsors many classic dramas and traveling musicals. Recently, "Annie" and "Oliver" have both been performed on the stage of King's. You will often find some of your favorites playing in this theater. When it is not a well-known piece, you can be assured that it will still be the best quality of performance.

The Arches is one of Scotland's busiest, most diverse and most exciting arts venues. Situated under Central Station and within 7 Victorian railway arches, the atmosphere and setting reflects its unique programming. The Cafe Bar and restaurant serves food until 10pm and stays open until midnight 7 days per week.

The Royal Concert Hall sponsors classic and sometimes formal shows. You may see dance performances such as flamenco, or you may find yourself in a performance of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, in addition to other national and international orchestras. Some of the performances include adaptations to the classics, such as a musical adaptation to Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet."
